Save Money On Branded Clothing Through Wholesale

Saturday, July 17th, 2010

Wholesale clothing is the first thing everyone looks to when they want a lot of stock, but do not want to pay the high prices that come with some American companies. One can pay $200 and more for a single pair of True Religion jeans, for example, and wholesale seems to be the solution.

Websites such as the auction marketplace eBay are great places to start out when looking to sell in wholesale. The prices on eBay are also lower than what you would find with an actual wholesale agency, since you are buying from a person and not a corporation. The only bad part of the operation is that you could get burned if you don’t check the feedback and history of the seller.

Wholesale opportunities with authentic stores will still be expensive to buy into. Wholesale gigs with imitation brands are not near as expensive, but to be an honest reseller you must mention the fact to your customers. The customers you tell might not be interested in buying the apparel after they know, so it can be harder to get rid of inventory.

Dealing with a foreign wholesale agency is a hit and miss operation. It is nice because you have more options in who you side with. It can be a negative when considering that committing to a minimum order could be a problem if you get the shipment and it isn’t what you expected. An offshore company will likely not be able to be brought to justice in this case.

There are a few things to look for when you sign on with a wholesale agency. The first thing to do is to actually give them a call. By doing so, you can verify that they are not a “fly by night” shop and intend on doing good business. Also check with any business rating agencies and review websites. If there is anything wrong with the company, odds are someone has posted a complaint somewhere.

Ask to speak to a representative in your native language. Small operations will either not have telephone support or will not be able to accommodate questions. Ask as much as you can about their company history, how many clients they serve regularly, and so forth. If they seem legitimate then you might ask for a sample. Don’t commit to a large order until you know what you are getting.

Closing Comments

Wholesale is a method of finding clothes at a great price- usually to resell for a profit. Just keep in mind that not everyone is going to have your best interests in mind, and that “fake” imitations might not sell very well if you plan on selling them.

The Appeal Of True Religion Brand Jeans For Americans

Saturday, July 17th, 2010

True Religion Brand Jeans is not your average jean pants manufacturer. The designs they create can cost several hundred dollars per pair for men, women, and children sizes. The brands sold through the manufacturer do have their place in apparel, however.

True Religion jeans use a material called denim. Denim was hailed as a revolutionary material in making jeans that could withstand the tests of the man’s work day. Denim is what True Religion uses in their jean collections. It’s also the reason why these jeans are so durable. True Religion has found a way to make them fashionable in the process.

The True Religion brand isn’t your average high-cost apparel retailer. The jeans are made for working men and those who care about fashion alike. Working men love the brand, being able to buy special jeans such as the Men’s Boot-Cut line of denim jeans. The working brands can go for a couple hundred dollars, but they will also last many years and look great the whole time.

Skinny is a line of jeans that True Religion has created. Skinny features jeans that are tighter on the legs, ankles, and hip. Men who like to look good and make the women ogle over them will definitely go for these first. The skinny jeans go well with V-neck tee shirts, other True Religion apparel, and accessories that the store offers. Skinny jeans will make the “wow” factor possible.

Shorts are another item that men can buy in the True Religion catalog. The only downside is that the company doesn’t put as much attention in their shorts category as they do the jean pants. You will only find several lines of shorts in the catalog, but it should be enough to make it through the Summer. Shorts are just as expensive as the jeans, often $150 and up for an official pair from the True Religion store.

Accessories are a major component of the True Religion catalog. Men can enjoy a selection of socks, hats, and fragrances to make them more appealing. True Religion fragrance is especially valuable ot men, as it is a masculine-smelling fragrance that definitely makes women notice the presence of the one wearing it. Accessories are much cheaper than the pants found in the catalog, so you can stock up without having to empty your bank account.

Final Thoughts

Don’t fret if you want the True Religion products but don’t have the spare cash. There are imitation brands, wholesale opportunities, and even the option to buy the products used. Just make sure that the person you are buying from is someone you trust, or else you may be buying a fake.

How Fashionable Clothing Brands In USA Changed The Face Of Fashion

Thursday, June 10th, 2010

Fashion and clothing is historically a universal interest. In the biblical story of Joseph, his father’s favoritism was evidenced in a many-colored coat. In China’s early art, their emperors are clothed in beautifully and ornately detailed robes. And who could forget the powdered wigs, buckles, tights and frills worn by rich European men in centuries past? Though the look has changed, people have not, and fashionable clothing brands in USA are doing their part to carry on an old tradition.

The USA’s early immigrants brought with them the styles they were used to. The styles changed, but the immigrants were more concerned with survival than what the lords and ladies were wearing to the ball. That phase, too eventually passed, but survival and ruggedness has always been a landmark of American style.

Blue jeans, a worldwide fashion phenomenon, were created by Levi Strauss & Co. In 1873. Jeans are the archetype of American style, yet they were originally designed for hard working men who need work pants made with tough fabrics and rivets to reinforce stress points like pocket corners.

Van Heusen, a maker of quality suits and business casual wear today started out as a flannel shirt peddler in Pennsylvania. He sold his wife’s creations to coal miners from a hand cart. Van Heusen brand also carries Izod, Gant and Geoffrey Beene.

In 1936, Eddie Bauer patented the first goose down insulated jacket, and was providing the U. S. Army Air Corps with goose down products only six years later. The puffy, warm outerwear became a point of style.

Jeans and T-shirts became the staple pieces that elevated many of the successful American brands today. This is evidence of the attitude that respects a person more if they earn their millions through hard work than if they inherit them. This casual style didn’t just stay in America. Societies that shunned function in favor of form have traded it in for comfort and service.

Just as the survival mode has changed, style that originated for working men has evolved. A common sight on runways worldwide is jeans and T-shirts. They are even dressed up with button-up shirts or sport coats.

Calvin Klein and Liz Claiborne are two famous American designers. Liz Claiborne’s inspiration was the American working woman’s need for affordable, stylish work clothes. Tommy Hilfiger, Aeropostale, The Gap, Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle Outfitters, Pacific Sunwear and Zumiez and many more are symbolic of that casual American style. Trendy and comfortable clothes will be produced by the fashionable clothing brands in the USA as long as there are people wanting to wear them.

About Juicy Couture Brand Clothing And Where To Get It

Friday, June 4th, 2010

What is it about Juicy Couture brand clothing that is unusual? Just as you would expect from the name, the fashion line combines couture with a spirit of fun. The brand has a faithful customer base, particularly with women and teenage girls. Well known for a cheeky irreverence, it blends traditional designs with imaginative details. An example is a handbag in a conservative shape and color which is accented with big tassels and bows. In the same way, a simple navy blue scarf is decorated with the ‘Juicy’ logo in bright colors. The brand is all about mixing conservative and eccentric designs.

In fact, many of the items in this fashion line could be described as fun and flirty. Pleated mini skirts and tops with puffed sleeves are a popular design this year. Besides handbags, skirts and tops, the brand offers a wide range of clothing and accessories, including pants, jackets, swimsuits, track and yoga wear. Most fashions are for women but there is also a kids’ line. The company has even branched out to fragrance and beauty products.

A versatile and cute style characterizes the brand’s popular fitted jackets. They are nicely tailored and accented with ruffles and pleats for a feminine touch. However, tracksuits are the garments that the brand is most closely associated with. The track suit design includes a draw string waist and hoodie, a classic fashion for athletes. The twist is that the suit is made from luxuriant material, such as cashmere and velour. The color is also unique; pink is one of the most popular choices.

The shoes line is another opportunity for the fun and youthful style to shine. Low top and high top sneakers with wide laces, flip flops with large wedge heels and gladiator style sandals are a few examples.

The Facts Regarding Abercrombie Company History

Thursday, June 3rd, 2010

Established by David Abercrombie in 1892, Abercrombie & Fitch Co., did not take on its official name until 1904, when Ezra Fitch became co-owner. Ezra Fitch had previously been a prominent New York attorney, and he left his practice and bought major shares in the company. Until that point, he had only been one of the stores biggest customers. The store began as an upscale sporting goods store, in Manhattan. Read on for the facts Regarding Abercrombie company history.

Unfortunately, the partnership did not last, and it ended in 1907. There were many disagreements over the direction of the business. Abercrombie wanted to remain in the business of strictly selling sporting goods, while Fitch wanted sell items that would appeal to more people. When Abercrombie sold out to Fitch, he simply got other partners and continued the business.

Fitch continued with his expansions, and they nearly ran him into bankruptcy, however, they did pay off in many ways. Abercrombie and Fitch put out their first catalog in 1909. It cost them a dollar each to publish them, which was a small fortune in that time period. The catalogs were given away free to any customers that visited the store. The were able to make their historical landmark by being the first New York store to sell clothing to men and women. The Story Of Juicy Couture Company History

Thursday, June 3rd, 2010

The Tale of the Juicy Couture company history starts in 1994 when co-designers Gela Nash-Taylor, and Pamela Skaist-Levy started a clothing line called Travis Jeans. The fashion line achieved success concentrating on paternity jeans that were comfy and stylish.

In 1996 the girls changed the direction of the fashion line. They dropped the jeans in an effort to create a more femininely flattering design, and started the Juicy Couture line. They had wanted to create a line that was both sexy & stylish, but comfortable as well.

The clothing line was started by the Juicy Duo out of their home in Pacoima, California. They wanted to get more exposure for their line so the they decided on giving their finished designs to Hollywood stars like Madonna, J Lo and Cameron Diaz. It was not long before one of them discovered the girls’ talent; Madonna was spotted wearing a low riding draw string pants and a curve hugging zip up hoody with the embroidered word “Madge” on it. Madonna’s appearance caused almost instant success for the line. Shortly after, Hollywood was suddenly full of stars sporting Juicy Couture. The outfit that Madonna was wearing was the Juicy Couture most famous outfit the Tracksuit. The embroidered Madge is not really seen on Juicy Couture clothing anymore. The bottoms to the suits all have the signature juicy written across the backside.

With the desire to extend the Juicy Couture line to the east coast, the Juicy girls held an east coast debut party to launch a new line. The affair was a hit; soon after Juicy Couture established a successful store in New York.

During 1999, Juicy Couture announced a new line of jeans named Juicy Jeans. During 2001, the Juicy Duo brought tracksuit back to the fashion world. The suits were planned to emphasize a lady’s curves and made of comfy soft fabrics such as velour, or cashmere, terry cloth, and fleece.

During 2002, Juicy Couture began offering their line of apparel to Children, Men, and even dogs. Doggy merchandise consisted of collars, dog beds, toys, leashes, carriers, and clothing.

In 2003 Liz Claiborne Inc. Bought Travis Jeans Inc. From Gela and Pamela for the price of $53 million they were also given a percentage of the future proceeds. Today Gela and Pamela still remain presidents of the fashion line and still design the fashion concepts.

Through the support of Liz Claiborne, during 2004, the fashion line developed into a world famous line. Juicy Couture expanded their woman’s products presenting lines of jewelry, handbags, swim wear, shoes, cologne and perfume. Currently the fashion line remains to present the most trendy and comfy clothing in the business.

Where To Buy Fashionable Handbags

Sunday, March 28th, 2010

When you shop for fashionable handbags, be sure the store you are in has an ample selection. There are department stores in New York City that have city block size floors of handbags. There are leather shops that offer so many different styles and colors, as well. And the malls have them at kiosks. The more you have to choose from, the better you will be able to match that certain outfit to the color and style of the handbag you have in mind.

You can find handbags everywhere, even in places you never thought carried them. In certain high end thrift stores, or consignment shops, you may be surprised at your finds. They may even be antiques, making them even more special to go with that outfit that you have in mind. Even the dollar store may have something you cannot pass up, because it is a perfect match to a hat or scarf.

When you are wearing expensive designer clothing and a dollar store handbag, no one will question it. If it matches, you should not care. Most people cannot tell the difference between leather and vinyl at a glance, anyway. And if they do recognize the dollar purse, guess where they have been.

If your handbag is plain, you can add some spice to it by attaching an elaborate hair ornament, perhaps, that you never wear in your hair anyway. This will make it special and unique, and nobody will have the same one. And handbags should match your shoes, so be sure to have a bag for every pair of shoes you have. That is just the perfect excuse to go shopping for more. A woman can never have too many shoes or handbags. Of course they cannot, because they go together.

Your handbag can make or break your outfit. You can bring attention to it, or you can downplay the purse. It can match your shoes and a jacket, or it can be bright red and break all the rules.

And your handbag can be hand held, or placed over the shoulder. If it has a long enough strap, you can crisscross it across your chest for a combination of security and freedom.

Closing Comments

Sometimes you can get a bag from a cosmetic giveaway that is just perfect for one of your outfits. Most of the bags they give away with cosmetic samples do not look like handbags at all, but sometimes you will get lucky. So, the cosmetics department at a department store is just another place to look for fashionable handbags.
