It is best to have your baby on a routine because that way you will learn what cry is for what. When you follow a routine you will know what your baby needs next when it cries. This is good because if your baby suffers from colic, you will know when your baby is crying for a reason.
At the beginning following a routine could be much of a headache but it will pay off in the end because you will know what cry is for what and believe me they all sound different. If you happen to have an older child the needs you to travel them back and fourth for different reasons you need not to worry because your baby’s routine can be scheduled around that time of the day. At the time that you need to drive your baby’s nap time could be then.
When I had my twins it had made my life a lot easier to follow a routine rather then just let them run the show. I was able to schedule appointments around them and able to do my grocery shopping with them not fussing at all. When my third child arrived people always stated that it must be easier having one baby rather then two but it wasn’t and I begun to wonder why. I had no routine for my third child, I quickly put one into play and life became a lot simpler.
This is why a routine should be necessary for anybody that would like to have a somewhat stress free first few months. By following a routine your baby will have a feeling of security and they will also know what is going to happen next.
A baby’s routine is indeed important. It helps make mom’s life better.

There is a wrong way and a right way to potty train your toddler, did you know this? Well there is believe it or not. Parents can always use some helpful hints and some ideas at this time their child’s life; I could have for sure.
The most important thing to do when you potty train your toddler is to encourage, encourage, and encourage. It is best of you stay focused on the positive rather then the negative. You need to first get your toddler ready by getting your toddler used to the bathroom. When they get close encourage then by being truly positive or some parents use a sticker chart. Keep in mind to never over react to accidents, there will be some for sure. If you happen to overreact about any accidents while trying to potty train you could make the whole process drag on longer then you would like.
It is a great idea to take your toddler with you when you go to the bathroom, this is because toddlers like to do everything that you do. When your toddler sees what you do in the bathroom they will also want to do it and feel more at ease when they try to go to the potty. Another idea is to use a stuffed animal or a doll and pretend that it is using the potty, some toddlers can learn from this also. Make certain that every time that your toddler uses the potty, reward them with lots of praise, stickers, or whatever you have decided.
When you decide to potty train your toddler keep in mind that it needs to be done in a stress free environment. Another thing is that your toddler will not potty train until they are ready and no sooner. If your toddler does not potty train right away, they may not be ready. Give up on the idea for a few weeks then try again they may get it the second try. Remember that is important that you are never negative while you potty train your toddler, sooner or later they will learn how to do it.
Potty training is significant for toddlers because it also helps them become disciplined individuals. Yet, potty training is not as easy teaching them about ABCs, so you need to be patient.

If you bottle feed your baby or if you are planning on bottle feeding your new arrival, it is very important that you know how to handle baby bottles to prevent your baby from getting sick. You should want to do anything you can to keep your baby healthy. You should keep the baby bottles clean and store them in the fridge to stop any harmful germs from growing, the germs might cause some stomach problems.
Be sure to wash the bottles in the dishwasher or in warm water with a mild soap. When you have washed the bottles rinse then and out them in boiling water for five minutes prior to filling them with formula or breast milk.
Prior to mixing the baby’s formula you should boil the water that you will be using and let it cool. This takes the additives out of the water that could make your baby sick. When you use a new clean bottle use it one time only then it will need to be cleaned again.
If you need to take any formula out with your baby, be sure that it is drank by your baby within an hour if it is mixed or if it is breast milk. Another great option if you are formula feeding your baby is to use powered formula and take the boiled water separately this will let you mix the formula when it is needed.
Opened formula doesn’t keep for very long. Amy formula that is mixed and not used within a twenty four hour period should be thrown away. Ready to use formula is good for forty eight hours after it is opened. Powered formula is good for one month after it has been opened. Any formula that is not used in the bottle that your baby has drank out of should be thrown out so germs will not multiply.
Extra Tips: Make stuff comfortable on your self, visit http://kidsslides.org and find out details on (a) slides for children.

With the pregnancy bug in the water system, you are bound to know someone who is having a baby, if you aren’t having one yourself. Pregnant women equal shopping time. Here are 5 gifts that any mother will most certainly be appreciative of. The baby shower gift ideas are great for those who are shopping or for mom’s to put on their gift registry.
1. Nappies, diapers, call them what you will – they are boring, but they are brilliant as a gift and no one ever wants to give them because they are so dull, but this is a pity because every parent i know always talks about the nappies and practical presents before they talk about the fancy key chains and photo frames!
2. Blankets, burp cloths, cloth nappies etc. These are the gifts that keep on giving. They may seem like plain gifts but I can tell you first hand that as a parent, you can never have enough blankets, throws, wipe cloths etc. But this is the trick. Don’t buy the small novelty baby blankets because they are only useful for the first few months. Buy the larger size ones and you will see your gift favored for years to come.
3. Pamper products and care for that new Mom. So often the baby shower becomes all about the new baby and Mom gets overlooked. During this new period in her life she will definitely not look after herself ahead of the baby, so get her a gift that allows her to take a much deserved break.
4. Lightweight stroller and Baby Car seats are a necessity, and if you are the one who provies the gift – you will forever be remembered for your generosity. You can also get covers for the baby car seat to make cleaning them easier. They also look great and come in a range of colours!
5. Gift Certificates. You can never go wrong with a gift certificate. Mom and Dad get to choose what they want and you gave them that satisfaction. The obvious choice for a gift certificate would where the registry is set up. If they do not have a registry set up, good choices could include their favorite supermarket (formula, diapers) or baby store. Another gift certificate idea could be a check card gift certificate. It works like a credit card and can be used anywhere.
Tip: I don’t suggest buying clothing unless the parents-to-be suggested so. Chances are they have already gone shopping and couldn’t resist those tiny adorable outfits.

For many women, pregnancy is considered as one of the longest waiting game in a life, which ultimately gets over when it is clinically confirmed. Now that you are 5 weeks pregnant officially, you must be very impatient to know about your baby’s slow and gradual development right inside your uterus.
Now that you are 5 weeks pregnant, the embryo within your uterus is developing at a very fast pace. In this stage, your baby is estimated to develop into a dimension which can be compared to a sesame seed. The appearance resembles more or less to a tiny tadpole. The top layer of the neural tube is identified as the ectoderm. The ectoderm of the neural tube develops to form the spinal cord, the backbone, nervous system and the brain of the baby. This layer is also responsible for the development of the nails, the skin and hair, glands like sweat and mammary glands plus the tooth enamel.
The middle layer of the neural tube is identified as the mesoderm. It is from the mesoderm of the neural tube, the circulatory system predominantly the heart of your baby will start to develop. When you are 5 weeks pregnant, your baby’s tiny and delicate heart will commence to split itself forming diverse chambers for beat as well as pumping the blood to the whole body. It is from the mesoderm that the subcutaneous, cartilage, the muscles as well as the bone of your baby are formed.
The third layer of the neural tube is identified as the endoderm. It is from this layer the body organs like the intestines or lungs, as well as rudimentary urinary system are formed safely. The other organs namely the pancreas or thyroid, and liver are further enclosed by endoderm. When you are 5 weeks pregnant, all the vital nourishment together with much needed oxygen is already passing through the umbilical cord and primitive placenta to your baby and actively functioning.
There are a number of common difficulties and uneasiness related to pregnancy. Some pregnant women complain that they are having sore breasts, while many say they are having frequent urination, and caught in a grip of fatigue when they are 5 weeks pregnant. It is at this period, nausea is a very common problem but in come it mostly comes up in the subsequent weeks.
