Identity theft is a big problem. Unfortunately, it’s more common than many people know. It’s a crime that can be large or small and has the potential to do a lot of damage. The Federal Trade Commission estimates that ten million Americans become victims of this type of theft each year. The damage falls into the range of five to fifteen billion dollars.
To help prevent identity thieves from stealing pertinent information, you have to learn how to protect your identity and personal information. The Internet is not the only means that thieves have to steal your identity. In fact, it is the larger theft rings that have this capability, while individual thieves are much more sneaky and can easily access anything that they need to about you. The individual thieves are the ones who go through your trash, steal your wallet, and use your social security number to get lines of credit.
The steps to take in order to protect your identity are simple, yet regularly overlooked. Start by making copies of the contents of your wallet; make sure that you get front and back pictures of all credit cards, insurance cards, and your driver’s license. Don’t just throw away credit card bills or other documents that may have even partial pieces of your personal information; cut them up or shred them. Also, don’t carry your social security card or PIN numbers with you. Most importantly, monitor your credit and your bills so you can catch fraudulent charges quickly,
Despite your best efforts, you may find that you have become a victim, or you have already noticed that there are questionable charges you are receiving bills for that you know you haven’t done. If this happens, contact the company immediately. Let them know that you think your identity has been stolen and get as much information about the transaction as you can, requesting a copy of anything whenever possible. Call the credit bureaus and have them place a hold on your credit.
Your final steps to resolving any issues is to file a police report. Provide the officer with as much specific information as possible. Obtain a copy and keep it with you at all times. You will also need to get a new driver’s license and request a different number.
Protecting yourself from identity theft may seem like a lot of extra effort. In the long run, you can be saving yourself months of aggravation and a lot of money. If you make small changes to how you protect your information, it all adds up to the bigger picture.
identity theft is growing problem so you need to protect yourself with identity theft insurance

Timeslips is a well-known software package used by service industry businesses to track and bill their time more efficiently. The program allows service providers to log their time spent with customers directly into the system. Once this information is captured in the system, billing is automatically generated which saves time and resources spent on administration and accounting work. Like many good software packages, the developers are constantly looking at ways to improve the system to make it easier to use or more efficient for customers. Here’s a brief rundown on some of the improvements and features of the latest 2010 release:
New Client Default Rates Report
You may have different rates for different clients, and inputting this information manually can be time consuming. Perhaps you offer a particular client a five percent discount on all work you do for them because they have been a loyal client for a number of years. Naturally, if the system then kicks out a standard invoice that doesn’t reflect this discount, the client could get quite put off. The new Timeslips for 2010 allows you to input different default rates for different clients. This means that if you have a discount structure in place for a specific client then you can easily do their billing without having to manually add the discount at the end of the invoice. The system automatically does this for you. This saves you time and effort, making your business more efficient.
New Clients Not Billed Report
This feature helps you track your billing cycles. If you have regular customers that suddenly stop sending you business, this will get highlighted in the Clients Not Billed report. This will then alert you to this fact and you can get in touch with your customers to find out the reason for this. You may find that it is because another competitor has swept in and offered better prices, or maybe your customer is unhappy with your service. Either way, you will have the opportunity to rectify this and salvage your client before you lose their business permanently. You can be certain that they will appreciate your proactive approach in keeping their business.
New Preview Feature of Bills and Reports Without Saving
Now you can have a look at the Reports and Bills without having to save the changes. This is helpful if you want to quickly refer to information but not necessarily save changes in the system.
New Print to Exel as Displayed Feature
Exel is a widely used costing and spreadsheet system. It can be integrated with a wide variety of different software systems so you can access your data in a variety of forms. Now printing from Exel is easier than ever. You can export the data into an Exel spreadsheet and then print it from that program in the same format as it is in the system. This provides a convenient way to print bills if needed.
New Improved Slip Notes
Often you need to add a note to a bill that is relevant only to a particular client or service that you have performed. An enhanced feature now allows for freeform text. There is also a feature which now draws through these slip notes to a report so you can easily call up a summary of all notes made.
Improved Purge Feature
Often systems get clogged with data and user information that is no longer relevant. You may have sales people listed on the system who no longer work for your company and each time you search for a user you have to scroll down through a whole long list of names. Similarly, you may have clients listed on the system that no longer send business your way or are no longer in business themselves. All of this data may have been relevant at some point in time but it is now just hampering your day-to-day operations. The new improved purge feature allows you to highlight and archive these old files or delete them completely. Perhaps you have backed up your system and have all your old customer information on an external drive. This feature would then allow you to sift through your current database and make sure that it only contains names and details of current customers and sales people. This will make the system and the way you operate far more efficient.

An entrepreneur is a very admirable career choice. People start all different types of companies and in a variety of industries. But the one similarity among most entrepreneurs is that they all wish they had begun a venture earlier on in life.
Educational policy strategists can help develop their children to be entrepreneurial by introducing specific classes into the curriculum, holding business plan contests and implementing extracurricular activities devoted to starting a business. Learning this subject matter should be considered very important in one’s life and it should begin early on.
Creating a class devoted to entrepreneurship will allow students to learn all types of concepts focused on starting and operating a company. Local entrepreneurs living in the community can come in to speak to the class and offer their advice on various subjects.
If students enter into a business plan contest, they can demonstrate their writing and pitching skills while trying to convince the judges to fund their venture. They will have to come up with an entire written plan, financial model and presentation and compete against others for a top prize, whatever that may be.
Nothing can beat hands-on learning and hosting a school-sanctioned company can help children see what a real corporation goes through on a regular basis. The students will be able to see what it takes to start the company, legally and operationally, and experience all of the benefits and drawbacks of being an entrepreneur.
Of course, plenty of children will not want to run their own businesses in the future. That shouldn’t matter as the skills developed through any school-run entrepreneurial initiatives can help them with other careers they might want to pursue.
Teaching kids at a young age to be creative when getting things done can only benefit them in the long run. Many employers generally look for candidates who are entrepreneurial, think outside the box and can work on their own with minimal supervision.
Everyone has the power to be an entrepreneur, despite the size of the venture you start or the industry it falls under. The key is to start early enough in life so that you can learn and grow from your experiences. This starts in school where all children should be taught entrepreneurship in one way or another.
Marc Alter has been contributing articles on entrepreneurship for the last four years. Furthermore, he takes pleasure in writing with respect to other things, like date ideas NYC.

Every buyer wants to make sure that they’ll get their money’s worth when they purchase something. In this article, I will help you make sure that you will get exactly what you want when outsourcing your articles. Here’s what you need to do:
Search for the best service! – Searching for the best article writing service is not the easiest thing to do when you are looking on the internet. Finding the right fit for your internet business is difficult. Let’s not sugar coat this point. Find the most recommended. Doing this will take you a lot of time to do to do the research and studying. Check your associates and other article writers who do the same. They may have a good source for you to go to. Also find out if they specialize in writing articles in your field. Freelancing websites are good as there are a lot of writers and some have done a great deal of work for others and you can see what they are saying about them on the site. Still, do your research on that particular writer, look at his work and even ask for a sample article so you can proof read and see if it is what you are looking for.
Be very clear in explaining what it is you want – You never want to be under the assumption that people understand at all times what you want. There are ways to go about this. Send what you want to be done via email. You need to be detailed with this. Make sure they understand how many articles are needed, what amount of research is recommended, with the resources used, and how you want them to write it. You need to let them know what style to write in. This is where you will need to contact them by phone and go over what was sent. If they have questions, let them ask. Encourage them to ask these questions. It is very important so that you are both on the same page. They need to know what you want at all times!
Have them send a few articles at a time to you instead of all at once – Encourage this as you will want to see to make adjustments on the articles you see. As with anything, they will know more of what you are looking for as time goes on.
Dealing with third party article writers can be difficult but using these techniques can help a lot.
You are the boss!
Keep them on their toes and you will see very good things come out of the relationship!

An internet business can be a good way to supplement retirement income. You can run it from anywhere you have a internet connection…and you set your own hours. It can be a lot of fun as well as make you money.
You are looking for information right now online. You found this article. Billions are doing the same thing around the globe. Believe it or not your life experiences, job, hobbies, passions, interests are of interest to someone somewhere. Why not cash in on what is in your brain? You do not have to write a novel either.
An online business based upon your experiences is more enjoyable than just working for a paycheck. Sadly most people, including me at one time, work at jobs they do not like. Why not turn the information you possess into cash? Think there is no way to make money on information?
Then why does the largest search engine online…rhymes with bugle…have a stock selling for over $500 a share? They are providing information to people…why can’t you turn your unique information into cash for you?
An online business based upon your sharing the information you possess can bring more rewards than just the cash. It is a wonderful feeling to wake up…check your computer and discover you have been earning…by other folks finding your information online…while you were sleeping.
You do not have to wait until retirement to start this online business. When you do prove to yourselves that you can retire early…since extra money is coming in…it is a great feeling.
If the internet seems daunting you need to find a service that will handle all the technical stuff while you concentrate on telling about your experiences. That is the key…providing the content (information) that folks are looking for…there is such a service…interested?

Let’s face it; we all desire to make more money than we do. It’s not just about making money to survive. In a relationship we all want to take vacations, go out for dinner maybe twice a week, buy things for our partners, renovate our homes, travel around the world, and just enjoy life in general. Money isn’t everything but it definitely provides a certain level of security for you and your partner to enjoy life to its fullest. Are you working full-time at your job and still feel like it’s not enough? Do you want to make another source of income without leaving your home? I found this great guide that will help you do just that so you can start doing the things you’ve always wanted. Below I’ve posted my own review of this product (as I have purchased it before) and I urge everyone to take 15 minutes to read to get a better idea of what it has to offer. Don’t miss out on an offer this good.
About 5 months ago I found a blog talking about a website called Legit Online Jobs. Their review was honest and the product sounded just amazing. I am not one to purchase something without reading a few different reviews first. So I did my best to find reviews from people who looked like they actually used the product and after finding only positive comments and reviews I decided to give Legit Online Jobs a go.
Their home page didn’t reveal too much except that they are heavily into making money from posting classified ads but I had heard that they offer much more than just the classified ad technique so I signed up and paid the $69.95 for VIP access and its only $49.95 if you want to sign up for the basic guide.
Once you’ve made a purchase and logged on they will give you guides on how to make money at home with the following jobs:
Ad Cash System- Learn how to make great money typing ads for companies. Real Home Jobs – Real no-fee jobs. Get paid by the hour. Includes data entry jobs. Paid Surveys – Give your opinion on various products and get paid for it. Paid Shopping – Get paid to shop in stores or eat out at restaurants. Paid Driving – Get paid to drive your own car or receive a brand new free car. Paid Email/Surf – Get paid to read email and visit websites. Paid Offers – Get paid to complete free offers from various companies. Paid TV – Get paid to watch TV for companies. Paid Photos – Make money taking pictures. Paid Blogging – Make money with your own blog. Wholesale/Ebay – Access the best wholesale sources and make money reselling. Advanced Money – Money making secrets for advanced users.
Each of these money making techniques is backed up with an introduction on what it all means, step-by-step tutorials and eBooks to help you along. The guides are very easy to follow and they provide great tips to make you successful.
They also provide extensive lists of resources or websites that are relevant to each money making technique. For instance, for the eBay section they include a huge database of websites where you can source products and for the Paid Surveys section it includes a database filled with companies you can sign up with to start completing surveys.
The main benefit for many is the Real Home Jobs section. This is where you can find hundreds of legitimate, paid by the hour, work at home jobs. It includes data entry, transcription services, editing, writing, translating, assistant type jobs, clerical, research, sales and marketing and much more. There are even jobs that involve you answering customer phone calls in your own home for big companies. Quite a few of the members of this site take on a few jobs at a time in order to make a full-time wage.
Legit Online Jobs emphasizes that none of the services provided on their site requires a further fee to sign up so after the initial payment everything is free.
As well as everything mentioned above there is also a bonus section with over 60 eBooks and video coaching on a variety of subjects including:
* The Expert Guide to Affiliate Marketing * One Step to eBay Riches * Make Money Without Leaving Your Home * How to Get Quick Cash in an Emergency * Adsense Secrets
The Ad Cash System is promoted heavily on the home page of Legit Online Jobs. We have tried it and it definitely works. It requires time and effort but it is by no means difficult to do – in fact it is dead easy once you know how. The goal is to place as many ads as you can on free classified ad sites that link to a product that you can make a commission from. Legit Online Jobs recommends putting up 30 ads a day.
The whole point of Legit Online Jobs is that they do the work in finding legit jobs for you and from there it’s up to you to decide what field you want to get into. This is especially important for those new to internet marketing or working online as they can be easily scammed.
Overall we found this to be a great resource for anyone wanting to make money online. The variety of methods means that there is something for everyone and you can pick and choose the money making method that suits you. I definitely recommend it to people that need an extra source of income.
